This is a very overwhelming and scary time for all of us and the way this is impacting us is unpredicted. Many people are looking for ways to relax and decompress during this unprecedented time. Through a secure HIPAA platform, the entire team of board-certified music therapists at Meli Music have moved to telehealth to continue supporting our communities. Sessions can focus on a range of needs, whether it be through music listening, creative writing, guided imagery, meditation, etc. Meli Music wants to support you by providing a space for you and your loved ones to develop coping skills and techniques through music. Additionally, they have moved their music lessons online as well. Learning a new skill or hobby is a great way to add a little structure in your day to day.

Melissa Sommers became a board-certified music therapist in 2006. She received her bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and her master's degree in Music, with a focus in Neurologic Music Therapy, from Colorado State University. Melissa is the CEO and owner of Meli Music, a music therapy company that provides music services to all ages and abilities. Services are offered across the country via telehealth options and in-person sessions in the greater Los Angeles and Chicago areas. Join us for Music & Wellness on Tuesday at 12pm via Zoom!
